Roberta designs learning solutions for training organisations, corporates and government entities of all shapes and sizes.

Her philosophy in learning design is based on the belief that great workshops begin by understanding corporate goals, plans and desired results and matching those with the developmental needs of the learners: i.e. what they want/need to know, what they need to be able to do as a result of the learning and importantly, how they would like to be performing, as a result of their learning.

This KNOW - DO - BE approach to the development of a learning workshop, (Drake & Burns, 2004, p. 36) when combined with contemporary adult learning concepts of self-discovery and more recent findings in the field of neuroscience in adult learning, makes for a signature learning experience like no other.

Facilitation & Training

Roberta facilitates and delivers workshops on behalf of a range of RTOs (Registered Training Organisations) and non-RTO training organisations. As a representative of these training organisations, Roberta always strives to deliver transformational learning experiences with every participant she meets.

Roberta is a qualified, Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Education (TAE40116) and is recognised for her relaxed, approachable, engaging, and interactive approach in a learning environment, whether it’s a traditional face-to-face workshop, a virtual workshop, or a Lunch, laughter and learning workshop.

Roberta’s facilitation and workshop learning philosophy is to establish an environment of discovery-based learning where learners use their own knowledge and experience to seek what they value as their own discoveries.  This learner-centred approach allows participants to obtain a good balance of theory and practice in a respectful, fun, and productive learning environment where they’re encouraged to identify workplace action ideas.

Roberta also holds a highly regarded Certified Learning Facilitator (CLF) Accreditation with the Institute for Learning and Performance (ILP Asia-Pacific) and Roberta proudly boasts a 30-year career in learning and development, where she has honed her memorable facilitation and training craft.

Coaching & Mentoring

Roberta holds a Certificate IV in Business & Workplace Coaching (10834NAT) and is working towards achieving a highly valued credential with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) accreditation.

Coupled with her extensive experience delivering learning solutions to large and small audiences, Roberta has proven success with individual and small group coaching, as a sure-fire way to help individuals to unlock their own potential and make the changes they need in both their work and personal life.

In recent years, Roberta designed and facilitated coaching and mentoring workshops for nominated mentors and mentees participating in Queensland State Government Graduate Programs within the Department of the Premier & Cabinet and she also coaches as part of the Australian Public Service Academy’s Graduate Development Program Coaching Team.
