Speaking Off The Cuff
DURATION: 90 minute LLL WORKSOP
This lunch-time workshop provides participants with a forum to practice techniques for speaking in small groups.
Speaking ‘off the cuff’ is a skill worth developing for both professional and personal reasons. These workshops will be a simulation of real-life moments when you may be asked to speak, without any opportunity to prepare.
Using tried and true methods of impromptu speaking, you will quickly learn that speaking to an audience, at a moment’s notice is something you can do, with confidence and finesse.
By the end of this LLL workshop, participants will be able to:
practice using techniques for managing nerves;
practice using impromptu speaking frameworks;
give and receive feedback to each other in a supportive and empowering learning environment;
